Second Language Acquisition (SLA); Pragmatics
Second language acquisition (SLA) explores how people learn a second language, including grammar, vocabulary, and phonology. Pragmatics, on the other hand, focuses on appropriate language use in different contexts. Together, SLA and pragmatics enhance our understanding of both the structural and functional aspects of language learning. Both fields are essential for promoting effective and culturally sensitive communication in diverse settings.

- 第二言語習得論：Second Language Acquisition Theory（専門選択科目）
- This class begins by exploring key theories of second language acquisition (SLA), then examines factors that affect individual learners, and finally looks at different teaching approaches within the context of SLA.
- 言語習得・言語教育：Language Acquisition and Education（プラットフォーム科目）
- This course explores how people learn languages and how language classes are conducted in different educational contexts. Students will consider how language and learning are connected across various learning environments.
卒業論文題目例
I will begin undergraduate thesis supervision in 2027. My research interests include second language acquisition (SLA), with a particular focus on the pragmatic use of written and spoken language, as well as topics related to peer learning and learner motivation.
